• Is FPC like other fuel treatments?

    No, 98% of the fuel additives on the market are solvents. FPC is a catalyst that makes fuel burn more efficiently. Many fuel additives claim to be catalysts, but in scientific terms they are not true catalysts. The combustion of fuel inside your engine is an inefficient process that leaves behind unburned or partially burned byproducts. Compounds containing carbon, nitrogen,oxygen,hydrocarbons,and sulphur form a sticky layer on the cylinder and pistons. As this layer builds up over time, the efficiency of your engine decreases. A solvent-based fuel additive dissolves away the sticky layer and expels it out of the engine. Once the engine is clean, this type of additive will not provide additional benefit. You can usually tell if a fuel additive is a solvent by its color: solvents are transparent. FPC contains solvents that will keep your engine clean, but it also contains a metallic component that is not consumed during the combustion process. The organo-metallic compound in FPC catalyzes the combustion reaction and causes fuel to burn more completely. With each piston stroke, the engine burns more of the fuel in the cylinder and generates more power. Less fuel is wasted and emissions are reduced. Therefore, FPC increases fuel efficiency even for brand new engines and continues to provide benefit as long as you continue to use it. A catalyst based product will have a color hue. The color hue indicates what the metallic component is.

    FPC is manufactured in 2 separate production plants. One is in Western Australia and the other is in South Point, Ohio. The South Point production plant currently has the capacity to treat 12 million gallons of fuel each and every day. That's over 3 billion gallons of fuel each year.

    All operations are all computer controlled. Large batches are blended, bottled, labeled, and boxed mechanically. Samples from every batch are tested in a state-of-the-art chemistry laboratory using diode array spectrophotometers to ensure quality control.

  • I understand how I will save fuel, but how will FPC increase the life of my engine?

    FPC extends engine life by reducing wear. FPC-treated fuel burns more efficiently and leaves behind fewer byproducts, including the carbon deposits that are the bane of all combustion engines. When the particle size of the deposits is larger than the thickness of the oil film barrier between moving engine parts, abrasive carbon wears away metal. Exhaust gas analysis tests have shown that FPC reduces both the particle size and the quantity of particulate matter, so we know that this is also true inside the combustion chamber. Fewer and smaller carbon particles result in less wear to metallic engine components. Oil analysis tests have shown less metals content in oil samples taken from engines where FPC is used, which also proves that FPC reduces wear.

  • Will using FPC add to my labor costs? I don't have an employee to always add FPC to my tank.
